Personality: The small abandoned orphan has a fighting personality and does not show kindness easily, often biting people who get to close to it or running behind Samhain. Not the best battling Poke'mon, Koi wants not to be a hindrance to its trainer, and wants more than anything to prove itself to the people who believe in him, though he has a shell which he is finding it hard to break out of, having been betrayed from mankind, there are deep scars barring Koi from open trust.
History: Koi is a relatively small Trapinch which was the runt of a group of many Samhain managed to save from a construction site before they moved to the Kanto region from Orre, where wild Poke'mon are all but extinct, Samhain found the small creature in what seemed to be a construction site, putting his life on the line to save the creature. Somewhat of a delinquent, his parents heard of his near suicide and moved from Orre due to the 'danger' factor, Koi followed Samhain the entire way to meet him again on his first day of Poke'mon Tech.
