His hair is a light cinder red which conflicts with his luminous sapphire eyes which match Koi's. His skin is pale for the most part and is occasionally easily sunburnt. beneath his jacket he is known to wear an assortment of loose clothing, but generally wears nothing at all but his coat. Falling down into crossed belts hitching at the hips which carry his Poke'balls and long dark cargo pants laced with pockets as a secondary storage device.

III. Background Information

Personality:
Samhain is an intelligent boy with an encyclopaedia in his mind, though he had never dreamt of becoming a Poke'mon trainer, as a drop-out of Poke'mon Technical, a school for budding trainers, he took with him the knowledge and experience of the institution as he had fluked his way through the years to his graduating year, barely skimming the finish lines when it came to the increasing difficulty of their questions, all without really putting much effort into it.

Samhain, though an intellectual, is often hard to motivate, lazy, apathetic and indecisive while in-inspired to act on his own behalf. He was credited to being a brilliant student, who simply lacked the motivation to take it all the way, so he, like many other of the failed students of Poke'mon Tech, were pressured to drop out, due to the stain the upper class-men and power they had to put stress on the failing students. These events giving Samhain a considerable bitter side for people who demonstrate similar closed mindsets and support strict rules.

Samhain has the same ire for people in positionf of authority, especially if they are the kind to flaunt their position as a stance of importance. A budding anarchist and delinquent, as well as an ashamed drop out of an esteemed school, he aspires to beat the Poke'mon league to amend his poor school record. Though the books at the Tech say he is simply unattended, his parents who had settled down in Pallet town have still yet to hear any different.

History:
Samhain didn't come from a wealthy family, his parents worked hard holding two jobs to pay for their eldest son to be able to make it into the Poke'mon academy. Their love for their son, hoping that their hard work would be enough to motivate him to get to the top, as they literally passed over meals to save and scrounge money for him to be there, and for their gifted son to excel. Having moved from Orre due to the fear for their son's safety, they moved to the quiet neighbourhood of Pallet town, where there they settled down away from harm and the gangs of the north.

Since he was pressured to leave, Samhain refuses to go home and tell his parents that he tripped at the finish line when it came to the academy, rather instead to taking up the mantle of a travelling Poke'mon trainer by the name of Samhain or Aya as he travels the land in an attempt to become a Poke'mon master, and to repent from his failure with recompense, and assure his more gifted younger sister would be able to do the same and not have to be passed over.

Luckily he didn't have to begin without a Poke'mon, the Trapinch he had named Koi which he had rescued in Orre had managed to somehow track him across regions to follow him to school. The Trapinch was a young, scared poor we thing which, along with its family were nestled into a small hole as construction was going on around them, it wasn't until he heard their cries that Samhain had come to the rescue, leaping onto his blades he charged down-hill for the site where girders were being piled up on one by one slowly locking the critters in place, diving down to them, he reached his arm in, and each of them latched on with their wicked sharp teeth, sharp enough to pierce his skin through his jacket as he held on, and pulled the small creatures to safety, while rolling out of the way of the girder. Having saved the small family he took them into a day care centre who promise to look after them, Koi managed to escape and follow him even after his long stay at the emergency room for the deep gashes all the way up his arm.

Samhain looked to the future with bright and hopeful eyes... He'd pay back his debts and get his sister through her schooling. That was his plan, his dream, then he could finally go home...

V. Other Information

Face Claim: Random pic from the internet.

Roleplay Sample: Bursting through the brush in the Viridian Forest, Samhain made a bee line for Route two, Koi following close behind, struggling to keep up, his speed was not his greatest asset, but training was something that needed to be done in order to prepare for the trials which came up ahead, this forest was filled to the brim with bug and poison type Poke'mon, something which Koi would be able to handle with the best of them as they ducked and weaved through the trees, Koi struggling to keep up with his trainer, the heavy little thing a little far behind.

"Come on Koi, we're almost there, the Route can not be too far away, push on! And remember, only move as much as you have to, you're heavy, so any momentum you make while moving is going to push you in ways, you don't want to go!" Samhain yelled back to the determined aspiration of his Trapinch. Movement training was the hardest part of their routine, but it was the one which always got them the most results, and pushed them the hardest.

Looking back and holding up for a moment, his sapphire blue eyes looked back to check on his Trapinch's progress, he was cutting shy of branches and roots, by about three to four inches from his body, veering around them as it ran to catch up, he was doing well, but he could see the strain of Koi whenever it jumped to a side and needed to then change direction, the impact, the shock, all of its body moving one way, and then needing to move in another. If he could cut that dodge down to little more than a centimetre, then it would be so much easier for him to be able to control his momentum, and not tire so easily.

"You need to cut it closer Koi, only just dodge. Watch your speed, know your body, and watch how fast it's coming and you can dodge it!" Then Suddenly, it came, a root, as Koi sped toward it at full throttle, leaning to a side rather than jumping the root only just barely missed skimming the surface of Koi's body, and Koi kept running.

"SEE! how did that feel!?" Samhain cried out and applauded his friend as they continued to run. Proud of his little buddy as he cried out in happiness at his success. Breaking out into Route two, finally, they sat, and enjoyed a meal together for a time, allowing them to enjoy themselves and their rest. New trainers would be making their way down this road, and seeing as they were at the end of the route, they would be a little stronger than trainers simply beginning their journey, and have just caught nice bug and poison type Poke'mon. It was a good set-up.

"Dont worry Koi, a little bit of practise, and we'll be making that Rock badge ours in no time at all, okay, you've had a rest, defence training, tackle that tree, It'll hurt a little, but we need to harden up that armour of yours~"

Koi stood, and with a charge it turned on its side and collided with one of the trees of the forest, denting the bark inwards, resounding up the wood in a little thump... They'd be able to keep this up until a trainer came long the road for sure. With Each blow against the tree, Koi struck a light chord as it exhaled, he'd been giving his training everything he had, and Samhain was not about to let him go it alone. Sitting down and doing his own crunches so that Koi didn't feel like he was the only one pumping iron.

It wasn't until later in the day, as the sun set on the horizon that they heard soft footsteps walking up the road toward them from the route. It had been a long day, but with a couple of rests in between the two of them were ready for this challenger. Samhain's energy sky-rocketed, his aqua coloured eyes matching the eyes of Koi and glimmering with possibility.

Round one...
